Our team consists of 40 years of experience in optometry. Craig Thomas, O.D. has practiced optometry in Dallas, Texas for the past thirty-two years. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1983. He was named Optometrist of the Year in 2001 by the Texas Optometric Association.

Dr. Thomas is a frequent speaker at optometric meetings and emphasizes topics such as glaucoma, ocular surface disease, anterior segment disease, retinal disease, advanced technology, practice management, and medical billing and coding.

Dr. Thomas is also a principal in BMG Consulting – a company that provides in-office consulting services for optometric practices around the country.

Tim P. Kret

After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Kret finished his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 1975. He has completed extensive training in the treatment and management of eye infections, injuries, and ocular disease from the University of Houston College of Optometry and is also certified as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist by the Texas Optometry Board.

Although now retired from over thirty-five years of private practice, Dr. Kret’s duties as President of First Eye Care, Inc. keeps him involved with all facets of the ophthalmic industry.

Chan Quach
Chan QuachO.D.
Currently practicing in Houston, Texas. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 2004. Her primary concentration in optometry school was treating patients with systemically related eye conditions. She chose several clinical rotations that gave her access to the technology rapidly developing in optometry and this is where she met Craig Thomas, O.D. and became involved in Decision-Maker Plus.

After graduation she joined a private practice as an associate optometrist for two years helping the practice successfully grow its medical base of patients. After accomplishing this, she became an independent contractor practicing in various modes of optometry in Texas and California before settling back in her home town of Houston where she started her own practice.
